Dr. Ruth-Ann Spinosa graduated from the University of Florida College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a B.S. in Animal Sciences in 2001. She continued her studies at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her D.V.M. in 2005. She is also a graduate of the Chi University. Dr. Spinosa enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in acupuncture, feline medicine, and dermatology. Dr. Spinosa's husband Chris, is a Clinical with Gore, a medical devices company. They have two children, Emma and Ian, one mixed breed dog named Finn, 3 cats, and 2 guinea pigs. In her spare time, Dr. Spinosa enjoys reading, running, riding horses and gardening.

Dr. Morris is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and relocated to Gainesville in 2019. For over twenty years, she has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Maryland.
Jennifer Morris-Roberts, DVM
Dr. Mallory Phillips received her B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2018 before completing veterinary school at the University of Florida. Dr. Phillips has her certification in Small Animal Acupuncture and has strong interests in integrative medicine, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Outside of caring for animals, she spends most of her time getting together with family and friends, finding great food spots, and attending hot yoga.

Katie is our super-charged bundle of energy – in addition to providing animal care, she wears multiple hats and is an integral component of the practice. If an animal is missing, maybe needs a new home or someone has a question regarding a medication – Katie has the answers. Katie joined NAH in August 2004. She holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts & Veterinary Technology as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management. Her professional interest include rescue work, human resources and business processes. She received her CVPM in October of 2012. Katie enjoys kickball, reading, gardening, and watching the Red Sox. She loves all of her animals, and believes that "when you enjoy your pets, you live life to the fullest"

Liz is our kind and caring Lead Client Service Representative at our Holistic location! With a degree from the University of Florida in Psychology, Liz’s pet philosophy is: “Be the person your pet believes you are. Your pet will always love you unconditionally, even when you struggle to love yourself”. She has several pets at home, including 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 lizards. In her free time, Liz loves to collect POP figures and DVDs as well as do outdoor activities like camping and swimming with her husband and daughter.

Sabrina is currently in school at the University of Florida studying Animal Sciences with a specialization in biology. She has 3 dogs; Cocoa-Puff, Alacran, and Ranger. She has 8 cats; Jack-Lynn, Cleo-Leo-Patra, Nevada, Mercy, Meechie, Racer, Goldie, and Frisky. She also has 2 horses; Rogan and Kodiak. She has a strong interest in surgical medicine and would like to focus on large animal surgery in the future, and in her spare time, she loves horseback riding and playing video games with her family.

Sydney is our Lead Veterinary Technician. Sydney is working towards her biology degree and her goal is to become a Veterinarian! Sydney's passion is working towards her goals and Shelter medicine. Sydney has a Pyrenees mix named Wren and 2 cats Aurora and Hazel. Sydney enjoys her time trick training her dog, playing disc, going dock diving, and training for agility.

Jayde is one of our cheerful and kind veterinary technicians! Starting out as a Veterinary Assistant at NAH, Jayde was one of the first graduates of the NAH Veterinary Technician Program! She is always focused on ensuring every pet gets the full care and attention they need while they are at our hospital, and continually expands her knowledge and experience in the veterinary field since she plans to pursue veterinary school in the future! Jayde also has an AA in Zoology. She has a goldendoodle named Macy and a boxer named Ham at home, and when she is not here at NAH, Jayde can be found hanging out and finding new adventures with her family, dogs, and boyfriend.
